Built in 1965, the Buffalo Grove Golf Club is one of the finest municipal
facilities in the area. The course features bent grass greens that are complemented with bluegrass fairways and tees. A mix of mature trees, sand and water will challenge shot-making abilities of all skill levels. Buffalo Grove Golf Club can be played from 6883 yards to as short as 5983 yards. The course offers three sets of tees; the choice is up to you.

Buffalo Grove Golf Club also features an all-grass driving range with up to 25 tee stations. Additional practice areas include a large putting green and a chipping/pitching green. If your game is just not up to par, the PGA and LPGA professionals are available for lessons.

The facility offers many other fine amenities including a full service pro shop (featuring many of the top brand names); rental clubs and locker rooms with showers are also available.

Our restaurant, The Village Bar & Grill, features an outstanding menu for after your round, included on their menu is their almost-famous chicken fingers and their already famous pizza. The Village Bar & Grill is open to the public seven days a week and is available for private parties, meetings and golf outings.

The Illinois PGA to Honor 2007 Award Winners

GLENVIEW, Ill. – Illinois PGA Golf Professional of the Year, Carmen Molinaro of Algonquin, Ill., heads a list of 11 recipients who will be honored Thursday, November 1 during the 2007 Illinois PGA Awards Reception sponsored by EZGO at Arboretum Club in Buffalo Grove, Ill. The award program begins at 7:00 p.m., preceded by a 6:00 p.m. dinner reception. The 2007 Illinois PGA Award winners:

Illinois PGA Golf Professional of the Year – Carmen Molinaro of Algonquin, Ill., is the PGA director of golf at Arboretum Club and Buffalo Grove Golf Club, both in Buffalo Grove, Ill. Molinaro, 58, is the 53rd recipient of the highest honor bestowed on a PGA professional, the PGA Golf Professional of the Year Award. This award recognizes the individual who best exemplifies the promotion of golf, community, charitable involvement, dedication, leadership and the ability to inspire fellow PGA professionals.
